Established in 2018, the ‘Entreprise Apprenante’ label recognises businesses, local authorities and associations in the French-speaking part of the Geneva region that use work-study schemes as a means of developing skills.

The “Entreprise Apprenante” label recognises organisations that are committed to welcoming, supporting and training work-study students, whilst promoting the transfer of expertise.

The 2026 edition marks an important milestone for the Pays de Gex, as organisations in the region have been awarded the label.

Among the winners is Kafféine Technologies, a company supported by Pays de Gex Entreprises. Pays de Gex Agglo is also one of the organisations recognised this year.

Based in Saint-Genis-Pouilly, Kafféine Technologies supports businesses in their digital transformation by designing bespoke digital solutions. In particular, the company develops business applications, web platforms and tools tailored to its clients’ needs, with an approach centred on support and the quality of its work.

This first edition, open to businesses in the Pays de Gex, shines a spotlight on local organisations that have chosen to invest in work-based learning and the transfer of skills.
