On Wednesday, June 10, Pays de Gex Entreprises hosted the Steering Committee of the Local Employment Committee (CLPE), a forum for discussion bringing together stakeholders committed to promoting employment and integration in the region.

This meeting provided an opportunity to take stock of the employment situation through the presentation of the “Employment Forecast” by France Travail, the Local Mission, and Cap Emploi. It offered a shared perspective on current trends and challenges in the local labor market.

The committee meeting also served as an opportunity to present several regional initiatives carried out in partnership, notably a review of the recruitment drive organized with CERN during the Employment Forum on June 4, as well as the results of the evaluation of the integration policy led by the Departmental Council.

This session took place in the presence of Joël Bourgeot, Sub-Prefect of Gex, Clotilde Fournier, Vice President in charge of Integration, Employment, Housing, and Housing Policy, Patrice Dunand, President of the Pays de Gex Urban Community, and Stéphane Mitzas, Vice President in charge of Social Cohesion and Security.
