CERN Venture Connect (CVC) provides tailor-made support to deep tech start-ups from any EU member state or member state associated with CERN. The programme connects founders to CERN’s cutting-edge technology and its extensive network of partners including an investment company, venture builders and incubators.

The programme has simplified and standardised licence agreements designed for fast implementation with a new framework:
2% in licence fees due when the start-up hits 1 million Euros in turnover.
CERN Venture Connect, Microsoft partner
CERN’s business team reached out to Microsoft to get more out of the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub when it founded the CVC programme. The partnership between Microsoft and the CVC programme could be a game-changer for a business that meets the requirements for the Microsoft for Startups programme. For example, it provides access to the best AI services, expert advice and essential technology to secure its longevity.
WHAT CAN INNOGEX DO FOR YOU?
InnoGex works with CERN’s facilities to host, support and fund innovative business projects for three years in the incubator and two years after.
Project leaders get:

A START-UP HUB NEAR CERN
A partnership between Pays de Gex Agglo, CERN, the Ain Département and French government in 2014 saw the launch of the incubator and enabled CERN to build a hub for start-up partners near its own site. InnoGex is one of the most exciting incubators in CERN’s global network. It has already hosted 7 companies since its foundation in 2015.
